This report shares the methods, instruments, and findings of an evaluation of dementia-capable community efforts in urban and rural Ohio regions conducted by Miami University’s Scripps Gerontology Center. With funding from the Administration for Community Living Alzheimer’s Disease Programs Initiative (ADPI), partner organizations from the aging and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) networks collaborated to improve the dementia-capability of their local communities, with a specific focus on individuals with dementia who live alone and individuals with IDD who have, or may be at risk of developing, dementia.en_US
